Sanveer and Vivrant could be the trump card
Punjab all-rounder Sanveer Singh has performed brilliantly in the domestic tournaments in the recent past. He can bat aggressively as well as bowl fast. Sanveer has the ability to swing the ball and also hits sixes and fours during the batting.
He scored 119 runs in three innings at a strike rate of 205.17 in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He didn’t get much chance to bowl. Sanveer took seven wickets and scored 156 runs in five matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Sanveer had scored an inning of 84 runs against Uttarakhand.
Coming to Vivrant Sharma, he impressed one and all with his all-round performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy this year. He scored 395 runs in eight innings of eight matches opening the innings for Jammu and Kashmir.
This season, one century and two half-centuries came out of his bat. His average was 56.52 and strike rate was 94.72. Vivrant has so far scored 76 runs in four innings of two first-class matches. At the same time, he has 519 runs in 14 List A matches. He has scored 191 runs in eight innings of nine T20 matches. His strike rate in this format has been 128.18.
With the ball, Vivrant has taken one wicket in first-class matches. At the same time, he has eight wickets in the list, while he has taken six wickets in T20.
